The Child
Development Center is a privately owned, not-for-profit
learning center providing quality day care for children ages
six weeks to five years of age. The Center is designed to
meet the individual needs of young children by providing
creative, fun and stimulating experiences in an attractive,
clean and safe learning environment.

Created
in 1994, the center is located on the local high school
campus and was developed under the National Youth
Opportunities Unlimited (YOU) program sponsored by the Dept.
of Labor. QCDO also provides 12 jobs for low-income mothers
through this program

Y.O.U. hires the best-qualified people to provide the care
needed to assist your child in their early development
stages. A nurse is on duty five days a week to handle any
emergency that may occur during our Development Center
hours.

Group Classifications

Infants - Even the youngest child can learn about
the world around them through the warmth, love and
attention shown to each child. Our infants receive all
the care they richly deserve.

Young Toddlers - Young toddlers are active explorers
and very curious. Our toddlers are offered a variety of
activities that are carefully planned and fun for them.
They are exposed to music, stories, art and much more.
We enhance learning skills through activities and
programs that develop language and communication skills.

Discovery Days - The 3-year-olds are eager and
inquisitive learners. We try to capitalize on their
eagerness to learn by offering programs that incorporate
the basic fundamentals of learning with those elements
of life that interest children of this age group.

Pre-Kindergarten - Our Center program helps prepare
our children for kindergarten by developing the child
with a diverse amount of skills.
