A Little About Us
The Quitman County Development Organization was established in
1977 by a group of African American community activists, each with a long history of work during the Civil Rights Movement. This movement consisted of a series of meetings. From these meetings, the QCDO was formed and evolved into a
membership-based community organization.
Primary service areas include the following Mississippi counites: Quitman, Coahoma, Panola, & Tallahatchie.
